About Us

The club was formed in 1926. The programme is sent out twice a year with a planned walk on virtually every Saturday throughout the year. Additionally we walk on some of the bank holidays, have a Tuesday walk once a month and a small number of summer evening walks.

Our leaders cover a large part of South Wales up to the Brecon area and the Black Mountains in the north and from Carmarthen in the west to Gloucestershire and Cotswolds in the east.

We also organise one or two weekends away, about three coach trip walks and a small number of social events.

Membership

We have a small membership charge of £8 per person or £12 per couple per year. There is no necessity to join immediately so come and join us on a few walks - you will be most welcome.
